Front Porch Tea Recipe
Ingredients
| Water | 10 Cup (16 tbs), divided | |
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Boiling water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 large family-size tea bags | ||
| 1 12-ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed | ||
| Vanilla | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Almond extract | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Fresh peach slices | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Use a 1-quart saucepan, to prepare sugar syrup, by combining 2 cups of water and sugar.
2) Place the saucepan over heat and cook until the sugar dissolves completely. Set the syrup aside.
MAKING
3) Use a 4-quart pitcher or bowl, to pour in boiling water.
4) Dip the tea bags and let stand 5 minutes.
5) Take the tea bags off.
6) Pour in remaining 8 cups water, the sugar syrup, lemonade concentrate, vanilla, and almond extract.
SERVING
7) Serve the tea over ice by garnishing with fresh peach slices, if desired.
