Ingredients

 Ground chuck2 Pound
 1 package chili seasoning mix
 Onion1 Large, chopped
 Chili3 Can (10oz)
 Whole tomatoes1 Can (10oz), mashed
 1 can (16 oz.) red kidney beans, drained (optional)
 1 to 3 jalaperlo peppers, finely chopped (optional)

Directions

In skillet, brown ground chuck; drain off fat.
Add meat with remaining ingredients except jalapeno peppers to crock pot; stir well.
Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours (on high setting for 2 1/2 to 4 hours).
Before serving, stir in chopped peppers if hotter flavor is desired.
