Directions

Rub flour into butter, add yolks of egg and the yeast dissolved in a little milk, a dash of salt, a tea spoonful of sugar, a table spoonful of sour cream and a little rum.
Knead and shape into a loaf.
Set aside in a cool place for half an hour.
Roll out to the thickness of a pencil.
With fancy cutter cut out squares, about the width of a finger.
Heat lard in a saucepan and put in fritters (not too many at once) and fry a golden brown under lid.
Drain on a sieve.
