Ingredients
3 to 4 large zucchini, sliced into rounds

Deep fat for frying
Directions
Wash and slice zucchini into rounds about 1/4 inch thick.
Set aside.
Combine egg, milk, flour, salt, and garlic salt in a bowl.
Mix well to form batter.
Dip each zucchini round into batter, fry in deep fat.
Batter zucchini as you are ready to fry it, so each piece is coated.
Fry until crisp and golden brown.

I like the batter, but 1tsp of salt plus a tsp of garlic salt is WAY too much salt....I need about a gallon of water after just trying 2 zucchini rounds!

Yes adding salt and garlic salt together would surely make the zucchini way too salty. You can add salt to taste and add finely minced garlic or substitute by adding garlic salt or garlic powder if you like, checking seasoning and adjusting to your preference.
