Fried Prawn Balls Recipe
|Prawns||1⁄2 Kilogram, shelled, deveined and chopped|
|Water chestnuts||8 , peeled, washed, finely chopped (Fresh)|
|Dry sherry||2 Teaspoon|
|Ginger||1 Teaspoon, finely grated|
|Egg white||1 , beaten until stiff|
|Oil||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Frying)|
|Red sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Chinese)|

Mix prawns, water chestnuts, spring onions, salt, sherry and ginger in a bowl.
Add egg white to the mixture with cornflour.
Make walnut size balls.
Heat oil and fry a few balls at a time until golden brown.
Drain on kitchen paper and serve hot with sauce.
Use 100 gms.soya granules (soaked and ground) instead of prawns and follow the recipe as above and serve with sauce.
