Fried Oysters Recipe
Are you looking for a yummy Fried Oysters recipe that will make your guests come back to your door-step time and again? It is always prepared with Seafood as the most essential ingredient. Ingredients
1 pt. oysters, drained
2 eggs Pinch salt
1 tbsp. boiling water
1 cup oil or lard
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 cup cracker dus
Directions
Drain oysters, dry gently.
Beat eggs, add salt, boiling water.
Heat oil or lard and butter to smoking point in frying pan.
Hold oyster by the eye, dip in egg, then in fine cracker dust.
Cook enough oysters in the hot fat Ho cover bottom of pan without crowding.
Brown one side, turn, then brown the other.
Drain on paper.
