Fried Noodles With Sliced Meat Recipe

Ingredients
2 cups cooked noodles
2 cups meat, sliced
4 mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup bamboo shoots, sliced thinly
1 onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. ginger juice
2 tbsps. soya sauce
I tsp. sugar
I tsp. salt
1 cup oil
1/2 tsp. tabasco or chilli oil
3 cups stock
4 tsps. cornflour mixed with 1/2 cup water
Directions
Break the noodles into 2" length.
Heat the oil and fry the noodles till they are light brown in colour and crisp.
Remove from fire.
In the leftover oil saute onion, garlic and bamboo shoots for three minutes.
Add meat slices and stir well.
Add stock and cook for 20 minutes.
Add all the seasonings and mushrooms (except the cornflour, tabasco or chilli oil and water).
Cook for five minutes.
Mix the cornflour and water and add to the meat mixture.
Stir well and remove after two minutes.
Place noodles in a plate and pour the meat mixture over the fried noodles.
Sprinkle tabasco or chilli oil and serve hot.
Note: For richer flavour add two tablespoons cooking wine.
VEGETARIAN VERSION:
Omit meat.
Use sliced vegetarian ham or cottage cheese or gluten sliced and fried before using.
