Fried Noodles Recipe

This is a kick ass Fried Noodles recipe which will knockout anyone who eats it. Excuse my French please. Popularly served as a Main Dish, the Asian Fried Noodles is liked by one and all. Serve this Fried Noodles at the table today and watch it disappear in delight!

Ingredients

 
6 dried mushrooms (Chinese, if available)
 
1/2 pound raw shrimp shelled and deveined
 
2 tablespoons soy sauce
 
1 tablespoon sherry
 
1 teaspoon minced ginger root
 
1 tablespoon cornstarch
 
5 tablespoons oil
 
1 cup sliced bambo shoots
 
1 cup shredded cabbage
 
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
 
3 cups cooked fine noodles, chilled

Directions

Soak the mushrooms in hot water 20 minutes.
Drain and slice.
Dice the shrimp and mix with the soy sauce, sherry, ginger, and cornstarch.
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a skillet.
Cook the bamboo shoots, cabbage, mushrooms, and salt 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Remove from pan.
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in the ,same skillet; saute the shrimp 3 minutes.
Return vegetables and cook 1 minute.
In a separate skillet, heat the remaining oil.
Add the noodles; fry 5 minutes turning them frequently.
Stir in the shrimp mixture.
Cook over high heat 2 minutes, stirring almost constantly.
