Fried Liver (Fegato Fritto) Recipe
Ingredients
1 lb (500 g) liver, thinly sliced
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup bread crumbs
salt and pepper
3 tablespoons olive oil
lemon wedges
Directions
Dip the liver slices in the beaten egg.
Coat with bread crumbs mixed with salt and pepper.
Fry the liver in the oil over a high heat for one minute on each side.
Reduce heat and cook for another three minutes.
Serve garnished with lemon wedges.
