Fried Fruit Recipe
Fried Fruit is something really worth making, trust me on that. Fried Fruit served as Dessert is the best food to pep me up. Treat your friends to this Fried Fruit and let them know its taste.
Ingredients
2 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 cup butter
6 firm bananas
6 pieces fresh pineapple, 3 inches long by 1 inch wide
1 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tbsp. dark rum (optional)
Directions
Beat eggs lightly in a flat dish.
Combine flour and cinnamon in another flat dish.
Heat butter in large heavy skillet.
Cut peeled bananas in half lengthwise then in half crosswise.
Dip banana pieces and pineapple pieces in egg, then roll each in flour-cinnamon mixture.
Fry gently in hot butter until golden, turning carefully.
Whip cream and brown sugar until stiff.
Fold in rum with rubber scraper (do not use mixer) and serve over hot fried fruit.
