Ingredients

 
White cornmeal -1 cup
 
Salt-1 teaspoon
 
Self-rising flour-1/2 cup

Directions

MAKING
1)In a bowl, sift cornmeal, flour and salt together.
2)Add enough boiling water to make batter with consistency of dough.
3)Take out a lump of golf ball size while dough is still hot and roll it into flatten it on wet palm.
4)Shape the cake like a biscuit. Repeat the process with remaining dough.
5)Take a well-greased skillet and heat it. Shallow fry the cakes until golden on both sides.

SERVING
6)Serve the fried corn bread cakes hot.
