Fried Tindli Recipe
Ingredients
| Gherkins | 115 Gram (For 4) | |
| Mustard seeds a pinch | ||
| Chilli powder | 1 Teaspoon (Leveled) (For 4) | |
| Turmeric a pinch | ||
| Cumin powder a large pinch | ||
| Salt | To Taste (For 4) | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon (For 4) | |
| Oil | 20 Milliliter (For 4) | |
Directions
1. Wash and drain gherkins.
2. Cut lengthwise into 8 to 10 pieces.
3. Heat oil. Add mustard seeds. When they crackle add gherkins and saute.
4. Cover and cook over a slow fire (no water should be added) till tender. Stir now and then.
5. Remove lid. Add salt, turmeric, cumin powder and chilli powder. Mix well. Cook for a further 5 minutes.
6. Add sugar. Mix well and remove.
