Fried Shrimp Recipe
Ingredients
1 pound raw shrimp, shelled and de veined
1 tablespoon cognac, rum or lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Frying batter
Fat for deep frying
Directions
1. Marinate the shrimp in the cognac and Worcestershire sauce about fifteen minutes.
2. Dip a few shrimp at a time in the batter and fry in deep hot fat (375° F.) until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
