Fried Rice Plus Recipe
Ingredients
| Egg | 1 | |
| Soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Cooking oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| 1 teaspoon grated gingerroot or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger | ||
| Cooked rice | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Green onions | 4 , sliced | |
| 2 cups cubed cooked meat | ||
| 1 1/2 cups chopped cooked vegetable or one 8-ounce can peas, drained | ||
| Peanuts | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
In small bowl beat egg with fork; stir in soy sauce and pepper.
Set aside.
Heat wok over high heat; add oil.
Stir-fry garlic and ginger in hot oil 30 seconds.
Add rice and onions; stir-fry 5 minutes.
Stir in cooked meat, vegetable, and nuts.
Cook, stirring often, for 6 to 8 minutes.
Drizzle egg mixture over rice mixture, stirring constantly about 1 minute or till egg is set.
Pass additional soy sauce, if desired.
