Ingredients

 Whole wheat flour1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Egg1 , beaten
 Cooking oil2 Teaspoon
 2 cups coarsely shredded potatoes
 Onion3 Tablespoon, finley chopped
 3 tablespoons shelled sunflower seed
 2 tablespoons fine dry bread crumbs
 Butter/Margarine3 Tablespoon
 Whole wheat flour1 Tablespoon
 Milk1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Shredded Cheddar cheese1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/2 tablespoons shelled sunflower seed

Directions

In a bowl combine flour and 1/8 teaspoon salt.
Combine egg and oil; stir into flour mixture just till moistened.
Stir in potatoes, onion, the 3 tablespoons sunflower seed, and bread crumbs.
Shape into 4 patties about 1/2 inch thick.
Cook patties in 1 tablespoon of the butter over medium heat about 3 minutes on each side or till golden brown.
Remove from skillet.
Keep warm.
For sauce, melt the remaining 1 tablespoon butter in a saucepan.
Stir in the 1 tablespoon flour and 1/8 teaspoon salt.
Add milk all at once.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more.
Add cheese, stirring till melted.
Top each patty with some of the sauce and some of the 2 tablespoons sunflower seed.
