Fried Herrings Recipe
Fried Herrings is a delicious side dish version that you will always love to include in your party. The Fried Herrings will surely always tempt you to try it again and again!
Ingredients
3 small herrings
Good pinch salt
Good pinch Ve-Tsin
Few shakes pepper
1 dessertspoon self-raising flour
2 tablespoons peanut oil
1 spring onion
Few dashes soy sauce
Directions
Scrape, de-gut and wash the herrings, leaving the heads and tails on.
Add the salt, Ve-Tsin and pepper to the flour and pass the herrings through the mixture.
Heat the oil in a frying-pan.
Fry the herrings in it on both sides.
While they are cooking, finely chop the onion.
Drain the fish on absorbent paper.
Place on a heated serving dish and sprinkle with the onion and soy sauce.
