Fried Herring Roes Recipe
Ingredients
| Roe -2-4 ounces per person | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | 1 To taste | |
| All-purpose flour-1 ounce | ||
| Fat for frying | ||
| Parsley- to garnish, chopped | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Wash the roes under running water and dry them.
MAKING
2 )In a bowl, toss them in well-seasoned flour.
3) In a pan, melt fat and fry roe until pale golden brown.
SERVING
4) Put them in a serving plate and garnish with parsley and serve hot with toast.
