Fried Fish Recipe
Ingredients
| White Corn Meal - 1/4 cup | ||
| Flour | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Kosher salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Slices of Fish - 6 fillets | ||
| Onions | 2 (Salad Oil - 4 tablespoons) | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Mix together the corn meal, flour, salt and pepper together
2) Into the corn meal coat the fish on both sides
3) In the skillet, heat half the quantity of oil
4) Add the onions and saute till browned
5) Using a spoon, remove the onions and keep aside
6) Pour in the remaining oil to the skillet and fry the fish on both sides
7) Cover the fish with the browned onions and cook the fish for about 5 minutes.
SERVING
8) Serve the fish with the sauce spooned over
