Separate onion slices into rings, add to pan, stir constantly over medium heat with wooden spoon for about 1 minute or until onion is soft.
Remove onion from pan, drain onion on absorbent paper.
Do not discard butter in pan.
Split roll in half; toast cut sides under hot griller.
2.Reheat butter in pan; it should be hot but not browned.
Crack egg into cup, carefully pour egg into pan.
Use egg slide to splash a little of the butter over yolk until egg is as firm as you like it.
Or if you want egg cooked on both sides, now is the time to turn it over.
3.Using egg slide and spatula, quickly turn egg over, cook further 1 minute or until egg is as firm as you like.
Assemble egg burger with the remaining ingredients.
