 Cod1 , salted
 Flour1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1 Dash
 Baking powder1 Teaspoon
 Water
 Frying Oil2 Cup (16 tbs) (For frying)
 GARLIC SAUCE

Directions

Soak cod overnight in water to cover.
Drain and cut into 8 to 10 pieces.
Combine flour, salt, pepper, and baking powder with enough water to make a batter the consistency of a thin white sauce.
Dip pieces of cod in batter and fry in 1 inch hot oil in skillet until golden brown.
Drain on absorbent paper and serve with garlic.
