Fried Clams Recipe

Ingredients
2 quarts shucked clams
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon dill
Few drops Tabasco
1 cup Italian bread crumbs
Vegetable oil for deep-frying (24 ounces)
Directions
1. Clean sand from clams and drain.
2. Mix egg with salt, pepper, dill, and Tabasco.
3. Dip clams in egg mixture.
4. Put bread crumbs on a piece of wax paper and roll clams until coated.
5. Place clams in the basket of a deep fat fryer and fry till golden brown. Drain on paper towel and serve with cooked spinach.
