Fried Chicken With Nori Recipe
Ingredients
| Chicken breast | 2 Pound | |
| Shoyu | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) (Marinade:) | |
| Sugar | 2 Teaspoon (Marinade:) | |
| Nori sheets | 2 (Marinade:) | |
| Cornstarch | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Marinade:) | |
| 1/4 tsp. ajinomoto | ||
| Sake | 1 Teaspoon (Marinade:) | |
Directions
Bone chicken breast, remove skin and slice breast into three or four strips.
Cut those strips into 1 1/2" pieces and marinate.
Let stand 20 - 30 minutes.
Cut nori into thirds and then into 1/2" pieces.
Roll marinated chicken pieces in cornstarch and bind each with a piece of nori around the center, securing the nori by moistening with the marinade liquid.
Fry in deep hot oil until nicely brown and crisp.
