Fried Chicken With Gravy Recipe
Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 6 meaty chicken pieces (1 1/2 pounds) | ||
| Cooking oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| All purpose flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules | ||
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Preheat Meal Browner browning dish at HIGH for 6 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine the 1/4 cup flour, salt, and dash pepper in paper or plastic bag.
Shake chicken pieces, 2 at a time, in flour mixture.
Add oil to browning dish.
Place chicken in browning dish, skin side down.
Cover and cook at HIGH for 7 minutes.
Turn chicken over.
Cook, covered, at HIGH for 6 to 7 minutes or till tender.
Place on serving plate.
Drain fat from browning dish, reserving 2 tablespoons.
Blend the 2 tablespoons flour and bouillon granules with reserved fat; return to browning dish.
Stir in milk.
Cook, uncovered, at HIGH for 3 minutes or till thickened and bubbly .stirring often.
Season.
