Fried Bread Recipe
Ingredients
| 3 tablespoons bacon fat or drippings | ||
| 2 slices day-old bread, halved | ||
Directions
Heat the fat in a frying pan and when it is very hot, put in the bread and fry quickly on both sides until lightly browned.
Lift with a pancake turner, hold over the pan for a few seconds to drain and serve at once.
