Fried Bean Sprouts Recipe
|Bean sprouts||10 Tablespoon|
|Lean boiled ham||3 Tablespoon (Very Thin)|
|Fresh ginger slices||2 (Thin Slices)|
|Sliced onion||1 Small|
|Peanut oil||1 Tablespoon (1.5 Dessertspoons)|
|Monosodium glutamate||1 Pinch (Ve-Tsin)|
|Ginger sherry||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sesame oil||1 Teaspoon|
|Chicken stock||1 Tablespoon|

Cut the ham, ginger and onions in thin strips and have them ready separately.
Heat 1 dessertspoon oil in a frying-pan and cook the onion pieces in it for 2 minutes, moving them about.
Add the ginger, cook for 1/2 minute, then add the bean sprouts and toss all about for 2 minutes.
Add the salt, sugar and Ve-Tsin and continue to turn the mixture over and over.
Finally, add the sherry, sesame oil and stock and heat through.
Turn all into a heated serving dish.
Wipe out the pan.
Heat the remaining oil in it then toss the thin strips of ham in it for 1/4 minute.
