Fresh Vegetables With Pork Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup butter
4 cups diagonally sliced celery
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, halved
1 medium green sweet pepper, sliced
1 medium red sweet pepper, sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
2 cups cubed cooked pork
1 1/4 cups Beef Stock
1 tablespoon cornstarch
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Directions
Melt butter in wok or medium-size skillet.
Add celery; saute 5 minutes.
Stir in mushrooms, peppers, and onion; saute 5 minutes.
Stir in pork and stock; bring to boil.
Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes.
Blend cornstarch with soy sauce, salt, ginger, and pepper; stir into pork mixture.
Cook, stirring constantly, about 5 minutes, until heated through and thickened.
Add celery; saute 5 minutes.
Stir in mushrooms, peppers, and onion; saute 5 minutes.
