Fresh Peaches With Cream Recipe
Ingredients
A small stick cinnamon
sugar
juice of 1 lime
A small bowl cream
Directions
Put the peaches into the bowl.
Pour boiling water over.
In a few seconds, the skins will slip off easily.
Now cut the peaches in half, deseed them and put them into the pan.
Add just enough water to cover the fruit Drop in the stick of cinnamon.
Bring the liquid to a boil then reduce heat to the lowest, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.
The fruit should be soft but not mushy and the timing can vary depending on the quality of fruit.
With a metal spoon, take out the pieces of fruit and put them into a serving dish.
To the liquid in the pan, add sugar to taste and as much of the juice of the lime as you need.
Add the sugar in tablespoons, then stir it to dissolve, taste and decide if you need more.
Keep cooking the liquid as you do this.
Pour it over the fruit.
Cool and chill.
