Ingredients
4 oranges
4 large tangerines
2 white grapefruit
2 red or pink grapefruit
2 tbsp orange liqueur 25 mL
Lime Cream
4 oz cream cheese 125 g
1/2 cup sour cream 125 mL
2 tbsp granulated sugar 25 mL
1 tsp grated lime rind 5 mL
2 tbsp lime juice 25 mL
Directions
Peel oranges, tangerines and white and red grapefruit; cut away thin outer membrane covering sections.
Holding fruit over bowl to catch juice and using sharp knife, slice toward center between sections and membrane walls, removing one segment at a time.
In large bowl, gently stir together fruit, juice and liqueur, adding up to 2 tbsp (25 mL) more liqueur, if desired.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
LlME CREAM: In food processor, blend cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
Add sugar, lime rind and juice; process just until blended.
Transfer to small serving bowl. (Cream can be covered and refrigerated for up to 4 days.)
Sprinkle with more lime rind.
Serve compote in individual dishes and top with lime cream.
