Fresh Tomato Pasta Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Scallions | 1 , minced | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Olive oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Tomatoes- 6 large, skinned and coarsely chopped | ||
| Oregano | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 To taste | |
| Fresh Parsley- for garnish | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) In a non-stick pan, heat oil and butter, and sauté scallions and garlic, for 3 minutes until soft.
2) In a slow cooker, place the scallion mixture along with tomatoes, oregano, pepper and seasoning.
3) Put the lid on and simmer for 3 hours.
SERVING
4) Serve hot over desired pasta and garnish with parsley.
