Fresh Strawberry Tarts Recipe
Ingredients
| Strawberries | 1/2 Pound | |
| Sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 6 Tablespoon | |
| Arrowroot | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Brandy | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Few drops red food colouring | ||
| 1 dozen baked tartlet cases | ||
Directions
Arrange washed, hulled strawberries in pastry cases.
Heat sugar and water over a low heat until sugar dissolves; remove from heat.
Blend arrowroot with a little water, stir into syrup, stir over heat until mixture boils and thickens.
Add brandy, colour as desired.
Cool slightly, spoon over strawberries as a glaze.
