Fresh Prune Plum Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Baking powder | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Shortening | 3 Tablespoon, melted | |
| Prune | 2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Boiling water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
Sift flour, 1/2 cup sugar, salt, and baking powder together into a mixing bowl.
Add milk and melted shortening.
Beat until well blended.
Turn into a greased baking pan, 8 x 8 x 2 inches.
Cover with sliced plums and sprinkle with remaining 1 cup sugar.
Pour boiling water over all.
Bake in preheated moderate oven (375°F.) for 45 minutes, or until done.
