Fresh & Fragrant Pea Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 cups shelled fresh peas or one10-ounce package frozen peas | ||
| Spinach | 3 Ounce | |
| Lettuce | 2 Ounce | |
| 1/2 cup chopped leeks | ||
| 2 teaspoons instant chicken bouillon granules | ||
| Chervil | 1/2 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Water | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Skim milk | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
In a large saucepan combine the peas, spinach, lettuce, leeks, bouillon granules, chervil, and pepper; add water.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmerfor 20 minutes.
Pour into blender container or food processor bowl; cover and process till smooth.
Sieve mixture back into saucepan.
Add milk and butter or margarine; heat through
