Fresh Lima Chowder Recipe
Ingredients
| Red onions | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Sweet peppers | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Corn oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Lima beans | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Marjoram | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Vegetable stock | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Frozen corn | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Allspice | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Tamari | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Cooked brown rice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
MAKING
1)In a deep saucepan, saute peppers and onions in oil until they are cooked and tender.
2)Add in tamari, all spice, corn, stock, marjoram and lima beans. Boil and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes over lower heat.
3)Now add brown rice.
4)Heat thorouhgly and serve.
SERVING
5)Serve as side dish.
