Fresh Fruit Rous Recipe

Fresh Fruit Rous has a yummy taste. The Vanilla ice cream and sugar icing makes the Fresh Fruit Rous a prefect after meal dessert.

Ingredients

 
1 firm ripe mango, peeled and cut in 3/4 inch (2 cm) cubes
 
3 slices ripe fresh pineapple, peeled and cut in 3/4 inch (2 cm) cubes
 
1 large apple, peeled and cut in 3/4 inch (2 cm) cubes
 
3 kiwi fruit, peeled and cut in 3/4 inch (2 cm) cubes
 
3 firm bananas, peeled and cut in 3/4 inch (2 cm) cubes
 
1/2 lb (225 g) strawberries
 
1 tbsp (15 ml) orange liqueur
 
6-8 large spring roll wrappers
 
1 egg white, beaten
 
Vegetable oil, for frying
 
Icing sugar
 
Vanilla ice cream

Directions

1 Combine fruit in a bowl. Sprinkle with liqueur and stand 15 minutes; drain. Divide fruit between spring roll wrappers. Brush edges with egg white. Roll up as for ordinary spring rolls.
2 Fry three rolls at a time in oil to cover. When golden, remove and drain well.
3 Dust with icing sugar and serve with ice cream.
