Fresh Fruit Rous Recipe
Fresh Fruit Rous has a yummy taste. The Vanilla ice cream and sugar icing makes the Fresh Fruit Rous a prefect after meal dessert.
Ingredients
| 1 firm ripe mango, peeled and cut in 3/4 inch (2 cm) cubes | ||
| Pineapple slice | 3 , cut into cubes | |
| Apple | 1 Large, cut into cubes | |
| 3 kiwi fruit, peeled and cut in 3/4 inch (2 cm) cubes | ||
| 3 firm bananas, peeled and cut in 3/4 inch (2 cm) cubes | ||
| Strawberries | 1/2 Pound | |
| Orange liqueur | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Spring roll wrappers | 8 Large | |
| Egg white | 1 , beaten | |
| Vegetable oil | 2 Cup (16 tbs) (For frying) | |
| Icing sugar | ||
| Vanilla ice cream | ||
Directions
1 Combine fruit in a bowl. Sprinkle with liqueur and stand 15 minutes; drain. Divide fruit between spring roll wrappers. Brush edges with egg white. Roll up as for ordinary spring rolls.
2 Fry three rolls at a time in oil to cover. When golden, remove and drain well.
3 Dust with icing sugar and serve with ice cream.
