Fresh & Tasty Fruit Compote Recipe
Ingredients
| Sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Blueberries | 2 Pound, prepared | |
| Cinnamon stick | 2 inch | |
| Arrowroot | 1 Teaspoon (Leveled) | |
| White wine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
Put the sugar and water in a saucepan, stir to dissolve the sugar, and boil for 5 minutes.
Add the fruit to the syrup with the cinnamon and simmer gently for 5 minutes.
Using a slotted spoon, remove the fruit to a serving dish.
Blend the arrowroot with the wine in a cup and stir it into the syrup.
Increase the heat and boil for 1 minute.
Remove the pan from the heat and let the syrup cool.
Strain the syrup over the fruit.
