Fresh Corn Saute Recipe
Ingredients
| Fresh corn - 4 cups (5 to 6 ears) | ||
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Instant minced onion | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Arrowroot | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper white | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Bon Appetit - 1 1/2 teaspoons | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Milk | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1 Cut corn from the cob and measure.
MAKING
2 In a skillet, melt butter; add onion and corn.
3 Cook for about 1 minute, stirring frequently.
4 Stir in in arrowroot, pepper, Bon Appetit, salt and sugar.
5 Blend milk into the corn mixture.
6 Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent corn from sticking.
SERVING
7 Garnish with strips of pimiento and serve.
