Fresh Corn Au Gratin Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon, melted | |
| All purpose flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Milk | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Shredded pasteurized process american cheese | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Fresh corn | 3 Cup (48 tbs), cut from cob | |
| Ground nutmeg | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Freshly ground black pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Soft bread crumbs | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) |

Directions
Stir in milk.
Cook mixture to medium thickness, stirring constantly.
Add cheese, corn, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
Mix well.
Spoon into a buttered 1 quart casserole.
Melt remaining butter or margarine and mix with bread crumbs.
Sprinkle over casserole.
Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes, or until crumbs are brown.
