Fresh Basil Carpaccio Recipe
Ingredients
| 500 g / 1 lb beef fillet, very thinly sliced | ||
| Onion | 1 , finely sliced | |
| black pepper | 1 | |
| Basil leaves | 10 , chopped (Dressing) | |
| Olive oil | 4 Tablespoon (Dressing) | |
| Lemon juice | 3 Tablespoon (Dressing) | |
| Capers | 2 Tablespoon, chopped (Dressing) | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), finely chopped (Dressing) | |
Directions
1. To make dressing, place basil, oil, lemon juice, capers and garlic in a bowl. Mix well to combine.
2. Arrange beef slices on a serving plate and season with black pepper. Pour dressing over and sprinkle with onion. Cover and marinate for 10 minutes before serving.
