 Salad oil2 Tablespoon
 2 apples, pared, cored, and finely chopped
 2 stiffly beaten egg whites
 Brown sugar1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Apple cider1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Butter/Margarine1 Tablespoon
 Lemon juice1/2 Teaspoon
 Ground cinnamon1/4 Teaspoon
 Ground nutmeg1/8 Teaspoon

Directions

Sift together first 4 ingredients.
Combine egg yolks, milk, and salad oil.
Add to dry ingredients; mix well.
Stir in apples.
Fold in egg whites.
Bake in hot waffle baker.
