Fresh Apple Cinnamon Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients
| Margarine | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 3 large red Delicious apples, peeled, cored, and chopped | ||
| Cinnamon stick | 2 inch | |
| Vanilla Ice Cream | 1/2 Gallon | |
Directions
Melt margarine in a heavy frying pan over medium heat.
Add apples and cinnamon stick.
Saute for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and cool completely; discard cinnamon stick.
Allow the ice cream to soften in the refrigerator until it can be whipped with an electric beater.
Transfer the ice cream to a large mixing bowl.
Whip the ice cream on low until smooth.
Fold in the apple mixture.
Transfer ice cream to a covered freezer container.
Freeze for several hours before serving.
If ice cream becomes solid, allow to soften slightly in refrigerator before serving.
