French Veal Chops Recipe
Ingredients
2 veal rib chops
1 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 cup soft bread crumbs
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon butter melted
Directions
Sprinkle chops with 1/2 teaspoon salt and dash pepper; brown in 1 tablespoon salad oil in small skillet.
Place chopped onion in 9 inch pie plate; dot with 1 tablespoon butter.
Place chops on onion; pour wine over.
Combine crumbs, cheese, and melted butter; sprinkle atop.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
