Eggs - 2, beaten
 
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
 
Sugar - 1 tablespoon
 
Milk - 1 cup
 
Bread - 12 slices
 
Butter or margarine

Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat the oven to 500° F

MAKING
2. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, salt, sugar and milk.
3. Dip bread slices into the mixture.
4. Fry in a small amount of butter or margarine until golden brown or place slices of dipped bread on a well greased cookie sheet, and place in the oven for ten minutes on each side or until brown.

SERVING
5. Serve with honey butter or maple flavored syrup.
