Recipe Story

Enjoy this delicious french toast that is truly a lip smacking delight. A great family breakfast option. A favorite with kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

Bread – 2 slices

Milk – 1 cup

Sugar – 2 tsp

Butter – 1 cube

Egg-1

Vanilla essence – 2 drops (optional)

Directions

Beat the milk, egg and sugar well. Soak the slices of bread in this mixture for 5 minutes. Take a pan, grease with butter and add the slices. Add a little more of butter while it is being cooked. Sprinkle a little sugar on both sides of the slices before turning it over (I like the glazed look that the sugar gives). Golden brown and its ready to serve.
