Directions

Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Cut a thin slice from the top of each roll and set aside.
Carefully pull out the soft insides.
Discard.
Melt butter and add garlic.
Cook gently, stirring, for 2 minutes.
Brush some of the mixture all over the inside of each roll.
Chop eggs finely and combine with ham, green onions, parsley, sour cream, mustard, salt, a good grating of pepper and the remaining butter-garlic mixture.
Blend well and fill rolls with mixture.
Replace tops of rolls.
Wrap each roll in heavy aluminum foil and heat in oven until very hot, about 20 minutes.
Note: If desired, make sandwiches ahead of time, wrap in foil and refrigerate until shortly before serving time.
