Directions
Add broth, water, and Worcestershire.
Cover; simmer 20 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Pour soup into ovenproof bowls to nearly fill.
Float two slices toasted bread atop each.
Cover each bowl with a thick' slice of cheese.
Place on foil (to catch cheese drips); broil 4 inches from heat just till cheese starts to melt and turn golden on edges, about 4 minutes.
