French Fried Onions Recipe
Eating just one is not possible for any one is my claim for this recipe of French Fried Onions. Not trying out this French Fried Onions after reading about it is one of the biggest sins you could possibly imagine of committing.
Ingredients
1 lb. large onions, sliced across in rings
2/3 cup milk
1 cup flour
salt
oil for deep frying
Directions
1 Separate the onion slices into rings. Place the rings in a bowl, cover with cold water and soak for 10 minutes. Drain well.
2 Dip the onion rings in the milk and then drain in a colander. Sift the flour and a pinch of salt onto a plate. Coat the onion rings in the seasoned flour.
3 Heat the oil to 375°F. Add the onion rings and fry for 3 minutes or until golden. Drain them on absorbent paper and use as a garnish for deep-fried fish.
