French Dressing Recipe
Ingredients
| Garlic | 1/2 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Dry mustard | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 teaspoon very finely chopped onion or a few finely chopped chives | ||
| Superfine sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 pint olive, vegetable or corn oil | ||
| 4-6 tablespoons white wine vinegar or cider vinegar | ||
Directions
Blend the first six ingredients together in a bowl.
Mix in the oil slowly with a whisk or spoon.
Finally stir in the vinegar or vinegar and lemon juice.
Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
