French Toast Recipe
Ingredients
| Non-stick spray coating | ||
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| 1 slightly beaten egg white | ||
| Skim milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| 6 1-inch thick slices French bread or 6 slices dry white bread | ||
| Powdered sugar | ||
| Strawberries | 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
Directions
Spray a baking sheet with non-stick coating; set baking sheet aside.
In a shallow bowl beat together egg, egg white, milk, vanilla and cinnamon.
Dip bread into egg mixture, coating both sides.
Place bread on prepared baking sheet.
Bake in a 500° oven for 5 minutes.
Turn and bake about 4 to 5 minutes more or till golden brown.
Sprinkle powdered sugar over French toast and serve with sliced strawberries.
