French Snow Peas with Ham Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 pounds snow peas, ready for cooking | ||
| Boiling salted water | ||
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1/2 cup minced smoked ham or Canadian bacon | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Ground pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, minced | |
Directions
Cook the snow peas in boiling salted water to cover for 2 minutes.
Drain and rinse quickly under running cold water.
Drain.
Heat the butter in a frying pan and add the ham.
Cook, stirring constantly, for about 3 minutes.
Add the snow peas and salt and pepper.
Over high heat, and stirring constantly, cook for 2 more minutes.
Sprinkle with the parsley and serve immediately.
