Baked French Onion Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 onions, preferably red | ||
| Olive oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Chicken stock | 1 Quart | |
| Sm. rounds of French bread, toasted | ||
| Parmesan cheese | 4 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Salt and cayenne pepper to taste | ||

Directions
Cut onions rather small.
Fry very slowly in oil and butter until soft and translucent.
Add sugar, salt and cayenne pepper.
Put all in casserole and add stock.
After toasting bread, float it on top of soup.
Sprinkle cheese over all.
Bake in oven 20 minutes.
Serves 4.
